Middle School

		Electric University Meter Lab teaches meter reading and basic electrical consumption. Meter labs are limited to one per school
		It's A Wired World workbooks and teacher's manual reinforce scientific and safety concepts of electricity. Workbooks for students and lesson plans are available.

High School

Virtual tours of MidAmerican's wind (VHS and DVD format), coal-fueled (DVD format) and combustion-fueled (DVD format) processes are available. Limit one per classroom.

Educators in MidAmerican Energy's service territory can request electrical safety or energy efficiency materials by completing the request form.

Natural Gas
Educators in MidAmerican Energy's service territory can request materials for kindergarten through middle school students by contacting the National Energy Foundation. Each packet includes a copy of The Energist for the teacher's reference and activity materials for students.
