MidAmerican Energy Company is committed to providing contractors and builders easy access to relevant, job-related information. Whether you're seeking general or specific information related to the communities served by MidAmerican, we'll do our best to ensure that the information you need is at your fingertips or just a phone call away.

From the beginning of a project to the end, representatives are available to answer service-related questions. MidAmerican will provide a manual, free of charge, to contractors and builders which contains detailed requirements for service installation.

MidAmerican currently offers service applications that can be completed and submitted online. In addition, MidAmerican offers a Web-enabled application, eWMIS, to a select group of contractors that offer single-family residential services. The application, which simplifies the process of requesting new gas and electric service, can be used in place of the current paper applications. A contractor enters the details of the request on an easy-to-use form, submits it and receives a work order number that enables the progress of the request to be tracked. MidAmerican anticipates expanding the availability of eWMIS to a larger group of contractors at a later date.
